But, when it came to connecting the controller to my PC, that was the real pain in the head. I had to go through article after article to find a concrete answer, and still, I wasn’t satisfied.

How to Connect SCUF Controller to PC Using Micro USB
One of the most convenient ways of connecting the SCUF controller to the PC is through a Micro USB cable. All you have to do is insert the Micro USB cable in the right ports and your job is done and the controller is ready to use.
The below-mentioned steps will help you to accurately connect the SCUF Controller to the PC.
Switch on the PC and the SCUF Controller
The first step is given, you have to switch on the Controller as well as the PC that you wish to connect with it.
To switch on the SCUF controller press and hold the power button until the LED light begins to flash.
The power button is located at the top of the controller.
Use a Micro USB to connect the devices
Now take the Micro USB cable and insert the Micro-USB end of the cable into the controller.
The USB port is placed at the front of the console near the connectivity button.
Now take the USB end of the cable and insert it into any available USB port on your PC.
How to Connect SCUF Controller to PC Using Bluetooth
Now if you don’t want any unnecessary cables hanging between your PC and your SCUF controller, you can use Bluetooth to connect the SCUF controller to the PC.
Here’s how you can do it:
Activate the SCUF controller
The first step is to power on the SCUF controller, you can do that by pressing and holding the power button until the LED light starts flashing.
Now, to establish a Bluetooth connection, press the “Connection Button” for a few seconds and release it once the LED light on the power button goes on.
The Connection button is placed at the top of the SCUF controller and is marked with three curved lines.
Switch on Bluetooth on the PC
Now open your PC and switch it on as well. Make sure no device is connected to your PC previously.
Once you are on the home screen, go to the taskbar and click on “settings.”
You can also search “Bluetooth” using the search bar located on the taskbar.
When you click on settings a menu will appear on the screen, from the menu click on ‘devices.’
The bluetooth option will now appear on your laptop screen, click on the bar placed beside/below the ‘bluetooth’ option to turn it on.
Next, click on “add bluetooth and other devices” and then click on the “bluetooth” option once more.
Your PC will now search for all the available devices in its vicinity and will display their names on the screen.
Connect both the device
“Xbox Wireless Controller” will be displayed among the list of bluetooth devices available to be connected to your PC.
Click on “Xbox Wireless Controller” and then click on Pair to connect both the devices

How To Connect SCUF Vantage Controller to PC
If you own a SCUF Vantage controller the steps to connect it to your PC are different from the ones mentioned above.
Here’s how to do it:
Install the Driver
First, switch on your laptop, go to the browser, and download the SCUF gaming driver. If you own a Windows 7 or Windows 10, your PC won’t recognize the Controller until and unless you have the driver installed on your PC.
Once you have downloaded the driver, follow the sets mentioned below:
- Locate the file named Vantage PC Driver and double-click on it to install.
- Click YES to start the installation process on your PC.
- Select YES to agree to the installation agreement.
- Then, click on NEXT.
- Now select a location for the driver on your PC and press INSTALL.
- Press Close once the installation process is done.
Disable the Audio device
If this is the first time you are connecting the SCUF controller to your PC, it will be recognized as an Adio device. This will disable it from working as a controller.
Now toggle the USB option towards the left and insert the micro USB cable into the port available on the controller.
Now go to your PC. On the taskbar click on the speaker option and choose “Open sound settings.”
From the menu that appears on your screen, select “Manage sound devices.”
Locate the Headset earphones option marked as SCUF controller and disable it.
That’s it, you are ready to play your favorite games on your SCUF controller.
